The concrete snail is intended to be a vertical wall mounted planter, housing a succulent or cactus. Ideally the installation on the wall leaves half an inch separation in order to place a led stripe to create a backlight illumination effect. The geometry is inspired by the natural flowy movements of the hands as we play with the material: a concrete embedded with micro plastic fibers. When adding water it becomes a malleable clay. Once the geometry is finished the piece is titled, it definitely looks like a snail or a crustaceous shell.
